Life Writing: South Regional Library In-Person

Write your life stories!... Adventures you’ve had... Tough times you’ve endured... Small blessings that bring you gratitude... Then share them with other members to reflect on and enjoy, together, the lives we live.

Facilitator, Earlene Broussard Echeverria, provides weekly topics to encourage inspiration, and each session includes participants volunteering to read a page or two of written memories. This program does not include any high-pressure tasks of judging, critiquing, or publishing your work. You decide how and when to share it.

Below is a list of the writing prompts if you would like to use them to help get you started writing!

  • September 3: Celebrating back to writing! Summer 2025 report or a best summer ever.
